Refund policy
RETURNS POLICY (Section 1.1)
We offer a 30-day returns policy on our products except those set out in “exclusions” from the returns policy (Section 1.2). We will exchange or refund unwanted products to equal value providing the item is purchased within 30 days and is in an “as new” condition (unopened, unused and resalable) including all packaging, instructions and accessories with proof of purchase. This policy is separate and in addition to any of the consumer’s legal rights. The Electronics Hub Ltd do reserve the right to inspect goods in store or at our central returns centre, prior to repair, replacement or refund being completed. We do not cover the postage cost of returning any unwanted items if they are in unopened and/or in unused condition within the 30-day returns policy.
EXCLUSIONS FROM THE RETURNS POLICY (Section 1.2)
Products that are not included within the 30-day returns policy are;

Goods that have had their manufacture warranty revoked by the breaking of the seal of the product, or registration or activation of software or SIM cards. This includes; Wi-Fi Routers, Wi-Fi Range Extenders and Access Points, Network Mesh Systems and Smart Home products.

Memory based products of which the seal has been broken. This includes; Hard Drives, Flash Drives, SD Cards, DVDs, CDs or Software including PC and Console Games.

Products with recordable memory included (including Home Security & Storage Devices) that have been opened, used or had their seals broken.

Services such as subscriptions where the service has been activated or digital downloads (Including Smart Home products).

Consumable products of which the seals have been broken such as; Sprays and Aerosols, Cleaning products, Liquid based products, Light Bulbs, Batteries, LED’s.

Anti-Static products of which the seal has been broken such as Electronic Components, Motherboards, Graphics Cards, PC Internal Sound Cards, RAM Memory, PC Internal USB or Firewire Cards, PC Internal Wi-Fi Cards.

Special order products; Products which have been specially ordered for a customer. Please be aware that special order items may arrive on a separate delivery from The Electronics Hub stocked items, as they are often shipped directly from our supplier. Unfortunately, we cannot accept the return of special order items if ordered incorrectly. Any special order items are still covered by the 365 day returns policy if the item is seen to be faulty by our returns team.

Customisable products such as Cut Cable, Cut Heat Shrink Tubing.

Mains Accessories (unless in sealed packaging)

Products of health and hygiene such as In-Ear Headphones or Headsets, Microphones or Pop Shields.
365 DAY GUARANTEE (Section 1.3)
Our 265 Day Guarantee if offered in the unlikely event of a product proven to be faulty we will offer a repair or replacement (Unless 30 Day Return Policy Section 1.1 applies) on all items purchased from The Electronics Hub Ltd 365 days after purchase if we are presented with proof of purchase. The 365 Day Guarantee protects against any electrical or mechanical faults and does not protect you against accidental damage or misuse by the customer. This guarantee starts from day of original purchase. If goods are replaced within this guarantee period, the guarantee will continue from the original purchase date. For information of our 30 Day Return Policy please refer to Section 1.1 and Returns Policy Exclusions Section 1.2. Special Order items are still included in our 365 Day Guarantee if the unlikely event of the product proven to be faulty, but is not included in the 30 Day Returns Policy if the item is unwanted.
Customer note; For any unwanted or faulty items please contact us before sending an item back to us.
SERVICE RETURNS (Section 1.4)
During the 365 Day Guarantee (Unless 30 Day Return Policy Section 1.1 applies) If for any reason we cannot determine the fault in store we reserve the right to send the product to our service centre or manufacturer to perform a diagnostic. This may take up to two weeks from the day of return. Once a conclusion has been made we will then contact the customer to explain the outcome. If a fault is found we will offer a repair or replacement. If the item cannot be repaired or we cannot offer a replacement we will then offer a full refund. If no fault can be found the goods will be sent back to us by our service centre. We will then contact the customer to arrange collection of the original goods or will send the item back to the original customer address. If a returning item is explained to be faulty we will then cover the cost of the return postage. If however the item is tested by our service centre and no fault can be found we will send the item back to the customer.
FEES & CHARGES (Section 1.5)
If an item is miss-purchased or unwanted within the 30 days return policy and is returned to us, depending on the condition of the item a restocking charge may occur of up to 10%. This may occur on a returned item of which the packaging is opened or destroyed or item is seen to be used. This restocking charge is non refundable.
Cancellations (Section 1.6)
If for any reason you decide to cancel an order you must contact us within 30 minutes of purchase. If you do not contact us to cancel the order within 30 minutes, postage will have been processed with the chosen courier and any/all paid for items will have been booked for collection the following working day. We can only refund any cost of postage before collection has been booked by our team, of which a full refund of any unwanted items and postage costs will be given.
