About Us

The Electronics Hub was founded in 2018 by two former Maplin Electronics managers and is becoming a known competitor in high street retail. With a passion for customer service and expertise in many areas of electronics The Electronics Hub foresees a bright future in the world of front facing retail and technology. Majoring in all things electronic such as Raspberry Pi and Arduino, to Audio, PC & Gaming, many hard to find cables, connectors and adapters along with Electronic Components.

The Team

Co-founders Adam & Ashley started The Electronics Hub after being made redundant as managers from Maplin Electronics in 2018. With over 35 years combined experience in retail and the electronics industry they decided to go on their own and start their journey. The Electronics Hub has now buried it's feet firmly into high street electronics with it's 5 star customer service.

Adam says; We aim to highlight the importance of preserving face-to-face service as artificial intelligence and automation become more widespread. In todays new age we have to consider the fact that A.I. will only move forward as technology evolves and as such, the need for human interaction is becoming less and less, with self service checkout points and automated services such as telecoms and chat bots. For us to stay relevant we need to embrace change, but keeping in mind that building relationships in customer service is important and to consider the consumers perspective, their needs and to minimise break-downs in communication.

Adam recently appeared on Voice FM The Technology Show Southampton with Natalie Haigh where he shares his experience with electronics retail and future plans for the business.
